Zameeni is a bridge, not a newsroom. We don't report — we curate real, on-the-ground footage from independent journalists and citizen reporters, for people who don't use Instagram or YouTube themselves but deserve to see what's actually happening. We cover major protests across India, starting with the NEET paper leak protests and expanding as new movements warrant it.

How We Verify

We don't publish anything until we can reasonably answer who filmed it, where, when, and whether the footage actually shows what it claims to.

Source Prefer creators with an established channel — a posting history, a consistent identity. A brand-new or anonymous account isn't auto-disqualified, but it needs independent corroboration — and it's labeled differently on the page.

Not recycled Reverse-search the thumbnail to rule out old footage from a different event, country, or year being passed off as current.

Date holds up Does the claimed date line up with anything else public from that day.

Location holds up Landmarks, signage, language, visible context consistent with the claimed place.

Not edited to mislead Reject or flag anything that looks cut to reverse a statement's meaning.

We write our own caption — never reposting a creator's framing verbatim.

When in doubt, it stays out.

If we get it wrong, the video comes down and a visible correction note replaces it — not a silent delete.
